Mission

NJAPA's mission is to promote the broadest application of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) through the support of public policies that enhance the general business environment and that value the development and maintenance of the transportation infrastructure. The Association promotes the production and installation of quality HMA, by participating in the development of application oriented design and quality control specifications. NJAPA enhances its working relationships with regulators, legislators, specifiers and other trade associations.

These enhanced relationships increase the effectiveness with which the Association facilitates the transfer of new technology in both design and construction. 

Vision Statement

The New Jersey Asphalt Pavement Association will be the widely recognized voice of New Jersey Hot Mix Ashpalt (HMA) Industry. Our membership will include the majority of HMA producers, the major lay-down contractors and the leader suppliers in this state.
 

NJAPA will play a strong role in securing an adequate, stable, long-range transportation construction funding program while insuring that HMA remains the overwhelming pavement of choice throughout the state.

The public will view the HMA industry members as responsible corporate citizens providing a preferred transportation material. That preferred HMA material will be of high quality, smooth, safe, quiet, environmentally friendly and least disruptive during construction.
